For years I've been testing and fishing several shelf/rack retail fishing rods. I’ve tried so many brands: high end-low end, grip material and styles, components, fresh water and saltwater specific, etc.  Lots of time and money was spent trying to find those special rod combinations that fulfill my needs and the needs of my friends and clients.  

Finally after years of research and testing, we decided to combine all of those properties: durability, fish-ability, blank weight, quality of components, price, and even color and blank material.  After a few prototypes and with the help of some friends the result was: Epic Custom Rods, custom rods designed with all of those factors in mind.  By anglers for anglers.
